Job Descriptions
Conduct daily inventory checks of incoming and outgoing raw materials, and update the system or reports accordingly.
Maintain Stock Cards for each raw material category, including fresh, dry, and chilled items.
Reconcile stock balances against issuance/delivery documents and actual quantities; report any variances.
Organize warehouse storage areas (Storage / Freezer / Chiller) by category and usage.
Implement FIFO / FEFO systems to prevent unnoticed expiration. Label production and expiration dates; group materials for easy and safe handling.
Coordinate with Production and Logistics teams to prepare and dispatch materials according to branch delivery plans.
Notify the Purchasing team when materials are running low or at risk of shortage.
Receive raw materials from suppliers and perform preliminary quantity and quality checks before storage.
Prepare weekly and monthly stock reports, including Aging Reports and Stock Loss reports.
Analyze root causes of waste, expired goods, or process-related losses.
Propose preventive measures to avoid recurring issues (e.g., improve storage layout, adjust issuance cycles, implement checklists).
Requirements
Higher Vocational Certificate (Diploma) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in raw material inventory control within the food industry or central kitchen operations.
Knowledge of proper food storage practices (chilled / frozen / room temperature).
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, especially basic functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Detail-oriented, careful, and able to work accurately with numbers.
